Apr 06,  · The wheels of ubiquity turn one more time. Recorded live in London in , "Valentine wheels" has the feel of being just another Tangerine Dream's nothing of particular value or note here, just a collection of live versions of 10 familiar and less familiar works.

The music on this album is quite different from Tangerine Dream’s first album Electronic Meditation, partly because of a heavier reliance on keyboards and electronic technology, although they still mostly remain in the background: the dominant instruments on the album are organ and flute. The other difference is that this album focuses on dark, spacey soundscapes as opposed to jam sessions.

Judging from the contents of this release, which bring together the former "Valentine Wheels" and its partner "Tournado" (which features the second half of another concert from the same tour), Tangerine Dream concerts in the 90s were just an excuse to trot out the same tired old tunes before an audience happy to play 'spot the golden oldie'!/5(4).

This album presents the second half of Tangerine Dream's live concert set from their European tour. After the opening (untitled) percussion solo intro, the CD presents over an hour of seamlessly segued fast-paced and concentrated synthesiser and percussion tracks of the kind that the band has come to specialise in over the last ten years.
  6. Mikaran

It is a live album from the concert at the Dominion Theatre in London, England. Much like Tangram with short movements connected by atmospheric segues, Logos captured a period of Tangerine Dream's evolution from experimental to melodic, documented also by their soundtrack to the motion picture Risky Business a year later.
