Days Of Future Passed was the Moody Blues' landmark second album and is widely considered to have formally marked the beginning of their psychedelic era. Featuring the London Festival Orchestra, this richly orchestrated album followed in the wake of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's and Magical Mystery Tour but was in itself a unique and highly.

Buy Days of Future Passed. Although Days of Future Passed is the second official album by The Moody Blues, it was the first to lay out the prog-rock template which would define the band’s sound for the next quidwiddispinihungsofortwespasiteg.co was also the first album to feature singer/songwriter Justin Hayward and guitarist/bassist John Lodge, two central figures who shaped the band’s direction during their heyday.

Moody Blues Days Of Future Passed The album Days of Future Passed jumped into the US charts within a few weeks and remained there for almost two years, bringing the group their first Gold Disc. As the title suggests, the six individual recordings fit together within the programmatic framework of a passing day. A3 Morning Another Morning.

There are some quite fine rock tracks on Days of Future Passed ("Tuesday Afternoon" especially), but all of these songs have next to nothing to do with "the classics." In any case the "classics" for the Moody Blues apparently are Rimsky-Korsakov, Brahms, David Rose, and Elmer Bernstein; the London Festival Orchestra is generally used between.
